Wright looking towards spring

Saginaw (Mich.) High School combo guard Larry Wright has taken a couple visits this fall and has a number of schools showing him interest. The right fit has not come together yet for Wright, 6-foot-2, 170-pounds, so more than likely he will wait until the late signing period.
"Well, I'm interested in St. John's, UNLV, San Diego State, St. Bonaventure, Ball State, George Washington, Tennessee, Pittsburgh and Seton Hall," said Wright. "Ball State has offered me, but I'm still wide open. More than likely, I will sign late after I've taken all my visits."

Wright has already used up two of his five official visit on trips to San Diego State and St. Bonaventure's.
"The San Diego State visit went really well," he said. "The campus and city are great, and I got along really well with the players and coaches.
"St. Bonaventure is in a nice town. It's really quiet, and I like that. There are less distractions. I enjoyed the visit."
Wright, who averaged 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists per game last season, is interested in getting early playing time, but he is also looking hard at the academic side of things.
"I would like to come in and play early, but the main thing I'm focused on is the graduation rate for athletes at each school," noted Wright.
