Palacios Has Top 7

Juan Diego Tello Palacios is one of the top unsigned players in the country, and the skilled 6-8 power forward from Our Savior New America H.S. in Centereach, N.Y., is considering some elite schools this winter.
Following his 20 point, 12 rebound effort in Our Savior's 65-62 loss to St. Benedict's Prep at the 1st Annual Brian Doherty Classic, Palacios offered his latest list to RivalsHoops.

The list includes Texas, Kentucky, Baylor, Georgia, Pittsburgh, Indiana and Seton Hall.
Palacios still hasn't taken an official visit, so he has five to burn between now and the end of the spring signing period.
"If I have a free weekend, I could possibly take a visit during the season," he said. "It all depends on the schedule."
A source close to the Our Savior program indicated that Palacios could take as many as two visits during the season, so long as the schedule permits.
A native of Colombia, Palacios has shined the last three years for Our Savior, and is considered a serious candidate for the McDonald's All-American Game. The game will be held on March 31 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Palacios' criteria in selecting a college will be simple.
"I want to go to a place that will help me get to the next level," he said. "Because I want to be able to care of my family back in Colombia."
