Green Receiving Visits

The No. 17 ranked player in the class of 2005 Gerald Green of Gulf Shores Academy in Houston, Texas came into the Kingwood Classic with double digit offers, and it looks like he is only going to pick up more after his strong performance in Houston. A new SEC school was in Texas visiting Green and his teammate Jovan Adams today and an ACC school is in this week as well.
Coach Stan Heath of Arkansas was tracking Adams last Saturday when he could not help being impressed with his 6-foot-8, 195-pound shooting guard. Green displayed a full range of scoring abilities and the athleticism that make him one of the top prospects in the class of 2005. Arkansas found their way to Gulf Shores Academy to visit with the two.

At the Kingwood Classic, Green said that Virginia would also be in this week and that Boston College and Kansas State visited last week.
The Texas Big 12 schools, and in particular Texas, who was foremost in Green’s mind when Rivals.com spoke to him at the Kingwood Classic.
“I would love to stay home, but it doesn’t really matter,” he said. “I like the Texas teams that are in the Big 12, probably Texas the most. But more than anything, I am just enjoying the recruiting process and just wide open right now.”
