Green Picks Up More Offers

Already sporting double digit offers, Gerald Green of Gulf Shores Academy in Houston, Texas has picked up two new offers. Word about the No. 18 ranked player in the class of 2005 is beginning to spread.
Both Virginia and Boston College called Green, a 6-foot-8, 195-pound shooting guard during March with scholarship offers.

“I’m excited about picking up the new offers,” said Green. “That tells me that coaches from all over the country are noticing me. I am still wide open, but I will definitely consider Virginia and Boston College along with the others.”
Green also recently received a phone call from the new Houston coach Tom Penders.
“Houston’s new coach Tom Penders called me and told me I still have an offer to Houston,” he said. “I will take a look at them like everyone else on my list.”
For right now green is working on his game, gearing up for his AAU season with the Houston Elite.
“The main thing I am concentrating on is my ball handling and defense,” said the sharp shooting Green. “I’m surprised at how much better my defense has gotten. All the hard work is paying off.”
