Providence is on the board in 2012 with the commitment of sharpshooting wing Joshua Fortune.
An unofficial visit to Providence proved convincing for Fortune. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard committed to the Friars just as strong interest was pouring in from Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, VCU and others.
"He and his mom just thought Providence was a great fit educationally and in style of play under Coach Keno," said Fortune's high school coach Ivan Thomas of Hampton (Va.) Kecoughtan High School. "He's only 15 years old and has great upside."
