For the third year in a row, Fresno State has landed a member of the Rivals150.
Late Tuesday night, Isaiah Bailey the No. 134 player in the class of 2014 selected Rodney Terry's Bulldogs.
A 6-foot-5 wing at Compton (Calif.) High, Bailey has the tools to be an instant impact player at Fresno. He is a high end athlete who finishes above the rim in transition, slashes to the hoop in the halfcourt and is a good enough jump shooter to keep defenders honest.
Bailey does need to add strength and to work on his ball handling, but he has legitimate high major talent. Had Bailey waited until the spring, he would have undoubtedly attracted more Pac 12 attention -- he did have offers from Oregon State and Washington State -- but he instead chose wisely to attend a program on the rise where he could make an impact.
During the summers Bailey has played with the Compton Magic and he'll join current freshman Paul Watson as a former Magic player at Fresno who ranked nationally. The year before landing Watson, four-star big man Robert Upshaw chose the Bulldogs before transferring to Washington after some off the floor issues.
Bailey is the second player that Fresno has picked up this week. Earlier they scored a commitment from skinny Seattle power forward Eugene Artison.
