Evans Still Considering Both Sports

Tyree Evans’ basketball recruitment is still on hold until he receives his SAT score, but his recruitment as a football player is picking up. The shooting guard from George Wythe High School in Richmond, Virginia also doubles as a receiver and defensive back on the football field.
“Everything is the same for basketball,” Evans said. “I should get my scores sometime next week. Football is picking up. Virginia Tech, Clemson, Penn State, and NC State are all recruiting me. You could say that they have offered me.”

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Evans is still not sure which sport sport he will play in college or if he will try to play both.
“I am still going to go with the best offer,” he said. “I do feel like I could play both sports.”
Cincinnati, Georgia, and Clemson are the top three basketball schools for the No. 21 shooting guard and the No. 104 player in the Rivals150.
