Pitt’s ability to play inside-out, posting up smaller wings and finish through contact in the paint then mix it up with consistent drives kept the defense off balance all night. It’s easy to see why high majors are excited about Pitt’s potential. The 6-foot-7 forward posted 20 points and seven rebounds in the loss to Legacy Early College.

Walls is a lanky 6-foot-10 forward with wing skills and guard-like ball handling ability; that caused a major headache for Gray Collegiate all night. Walls’ length on the defensive end made opposing guards and bigs think twice before converging on the lane, and offensively it enabled him to maneuver to spots with ease as he attacked angles. Walls posted 33 points and eight rebounds in the 58-44 win.

Pretty was relentless on the boards against Sunrise Christian’s frontline, posting 21 points, while shooting 75 percent from the field, and nine rebounds in the 72-65 upset win. Pretty’s ability to use his brute frame and quickness to create space and finish efficiently was the difference in the game.

Bryson was a sniper for Legacy all night, connecting on 6-of-8 from the 3-point line and scoring 20 points in an 84-74 win over Canyon International. Bryson drained open threes and contested threes and got open looks because of his ability to move without the ball. Bryson has offers and interest from Furman, Tennessee State, UC Santa Barbara, St. Bonaventure and Chicago State, among others. Expect that list to grow over the next month.

Shackleton was tactical in his approach, never forcing the issue and making the right reads when he picked his spots. That translated into 16 points on 6 of 7 from the field and seven rebounds in Legacy’s 84-74 win over Canyon International. Shackleton used his lightning quick first step to get to his spots and thrived in the half court as well as in the open court.
