Edgecombe strengthened his case as the best two-way guard in the country, bringing his energetic brand of hoops on both ends of the floor. Edgecombe finished posting 17 points, three steals and two assists in the 69-59 win over Sunrise Christian. After visiting Florida, Baylor, Duke, Kentucky and St. John’s, Edgecombe, who is ranked No. 5 overall in the Rivals150, said he’s done with visits. “I’ll sit down with my family and, maybe in a couple months or so, you’ll probably get a decision from me.”

The Michigan signee was relentless on the offensive end, keeping the defense off balance with a mixed bag offensively. Anderson’s blow-by ability was a devastating weapon for the 5-foot-11 guard who posted 20 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists in the win. Anderson’s ability to score in bunches will make him an instant offense option for Juwan Howard next season.

Tchanda brought his physical brand of basketball to South Carolina, pushing around the opposing bigs all night and outworking them in the paint for optimal scoring position. Tchanda had the highlight of the night, a one-handed stuff over the top of Long Island Lutheran’s bigs, drawing the foul in the process. Tchanda finished with 17 points and four rebounds in the 69-59 loss.

Sadler was nearly impossible to stay in front of all night, using his quickness and shiftiness to penetrate the lane and finish with short pull ups and run-outs. Sadler, a sophomore, more than held his own against Oak Hill’s elite guards all night, posting 19 points in the loss.

The TCU signee lived up to his reputation of doing it all on both ends of the floor, but it was his efficiency offensively that ultimately got the Warriors to the winner’s circle in the end. Robinson went 6-of-6 from the field, 4-of-4 from the 3-point line and missed just one free throw to post 23 points in the win.

Cooper was unconscious from the 3-point line in the opener, connecting on 6-of-7 from deep en route to a 20-point outing to lead the Blazers to a 65-55 win over St. Francis. Cooper’s quick release and his ability to find pockets due to his ability to move without the ball made the 6-foot-3 guard a deadly weapon all night.
