The summer camp season is an excellent time for prospects to boost their stock and showcase their potential, and no one did that better in the class of 2018 than Marvin Bagley. After spending the summer evaluating all over the country, here is our All-Summer team for the class of 2018.

Most Valuable Player

Summer performance: The clearcut No. 1 player in the class of 2018, Bagley showed true superstar potential during an incredible run of games at the Nike Peach Jam. He’s an explosive athlete, he is among the best rebounders in the country and he can score with a high level of skill.

Recruitment: Considering a group of six including Arizona, Arizona State, Duke, Kentucky, Oregon and UCLA.

Summer performance: A long and slithery point guard who excels at getting to the basket, Dosunmu put himself on the national map during the early spring. He continued that through the summer playing extremely well for the Mac Irvin Fire. Even while injured and basically playing on one leg in Las Vegas to end the summer, Dosunmu still couldn’t be stopped off the dribble.

Recruitment: Creighton, Marquette, Iowa State, Illinois, St. John’s, Florida State, Northwestern and others have offered.

Summer performance: No class of 2018 player had a better run on the Under Armour Circuit than Dotson. Whether he was playing with Team Charlotte or on his own at the Under Armour All-America Camp, Dotson was effective. He’s strong, gets into the lane, makes plays for others and is as competitive as any player in the country.

Recruitment: Kansas, North Carolina, N.C. State, Clemson, Florida, Tennessee and others have offered.

Summer performance: Grimes looked like he had run out of steam at Adidas Nations last weekend, but that doesn’t erase a strong body of work. Beginning in April, Grimes put himself on the map on the Adidas Uprising circuit with Basketball University. A highly skilled off guard, he looked like one of the more natural scorers in 2018 and has the feel to slide over and play some point.

Recruitment: Texas A&M, Baylor, Kansas, Texas, UCLA and many others have offered.

Summer performance: Hauser really caught our eye in June at the Nike Elite 100 as a 6-foot-7 forward capable of stretching defenses as a mobile four man or punishing smaller defenders as a strong wing. During July, he was even better playing for the Iowa Barnstomers 16U team.

Recruitment: Michigan State, Iowa, Marquette, Wisconsin, Virginia, Northwestern and others have offered.

Summer performance: All the way from April through the end of July, the smooth shooting guard was the best player that Rivals.com saw on the Adidas circuit. Because he makes things look so easy, his production is sometimes a bit underrated and the little things he does like rebound and defend at a high level get lost in the shuffle.

Recruitment: Duke, Louisville, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas and others have offered.

Summer performance: One of the top young prospects in the class of 2018, Liddell has taken giant steps. He was a double-double waiting to happen because of his activity on the glass and he became much stronger attacking the rim for his summer team Texas Hard Work. His jumper remains a work in progress but his work rate was impressive.

Recruitment: Texas A&M, Kansas, Iowa State, Tennessee, Texas, Baylor, SMU, Arizona, UCLA and others have offered.

Summer performance: When we saw Perry in April with the Arkansas Hawks 16U squad, he was intriguing as a strong and active power forward. During July, though, he showed that he was also a pretty polished offensive player with the skill to attack off the dribble, make mid-range jumpers and find open cutters when double-teamed. He’ll be one of the biggest risers in the next 2018 rankings update.

Recruitment: Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, Auburn, Georgia and others have offered.

Summer performance: After being sidelined in the early spring due to injury, Ramey was terrific during the months of June and July. A long and rangy point guard, Ramey is a true floor general who looks to involve others first and then gets his offense as needed. What really secured his place on the All-Summer team, though, was how hard he played on the defensive end.

Recruitment: Purdue, Marquette, Nebraska, Northwestern, Texas A&M, Cincinnati, Ohio State, Arkansas, Iowa State and Florida all offered during the month of July.

Summer performance: A wiry strong power forward who has always been long on potential, “Sticks” took a huge leap forward during the month of July. He became an effective scorer on the block, ran the floor with purpose and caused problems as a shot blocker. He led Team Takeover to a 16U title at the Fab 48 and earned MVP honors in the process.

Recruitment: Florida, Arizona, Maryland, Villanova, Virginia, Stanford, Syracuse, USC, Providence, Marquette and Miami have already offered.

Summer performance: Whether it was with his summer team Game Elite, at Adidas Nations or at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, Williamson totally crushed it. One of the most explosive players in the country, Williamson is incredibly quick off the floor and plays with big-time power. Nobody in the country was more efficient and he looked like a young Larry Johnson at times.

Recruitment: Williamson now has more than 25 offers including North Carolina, Oregon, Wake Forest, Auburn, Arizona State, Arizona, Baylor, UCLA, Maryland, Clemson, Florida and Georgia.
