Zimmerman working to become complete player

Now that his junior year of basketball is complete, Andrew Zimmerman is planning to spend more time focusing in on his recruitment. The 6-foot-9, 210-pound center from Oostburg (WS) High School has a number of high-major programs involved in his recruitment, but he would love nothing more than to see his list expand throughout the AAU Circuit.
"Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Oakland, Butler, American and Illinois State are some of the schools that have been down to watch me play," said Zimmerman. "Indiana State, Wisconsin and Ball State continue to send me stuff in the mail. I have taken unofficial visits to Butler, Indiana State, Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Marquette.

"All of the in-state schools stand out to me the most," he added. "Butler has a quiet campus, which is something that I really like."
Until the time comes for Zimmerman to make a decision about his future, he is going to concentrate on the upcoming AAU season. Additionally, the 6-foot-9, 210-pound center is going to spend quite a bit of time in the gym.
"I will be playing with the Fox Valley Skillz again this summer," said Zimmerman. "I know that we are going to the Real Deal on The Hill, the Kingwood Classic, the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions, an event in Las Vegas and a couple of other events.
"I also plan to spend a lot of time in the gym and weight room," he added. "I want to improve my midrange game and outside shot."
