Zeller remains in-state at Indiana

The first day of the early signing period brought some surprises, but really nothing much in the way of drama. The second day, well, there was plenty of drama surrounding the announcement of five-star big man Cody Zeller.
Just 30 minutes prior to the 6-foot-10 product of Washington (Ind.) High stepping to the podium to make his announcement, it remained a mystery to the public which school he would pick.

Would he follow his older brother, Tyler Zeller to North Carolina? Would he become the face of Tom Crean's rebuilding project at Indiana? Or would he pull off the major surprise and pick last year's national runner-up, Butler?
As it turns out, news leaked shortly before the announcement that Zeller would stay home in hopes of leading Indiana back to national prominence.
A nimble big man with a highly skilled game on the offensive end, Zeller is a potential impact guy. He runs the floor, can play pick-and-pop because of his jump-shooting ability and is a high-level rebounder.
Zeller joins Indiana Elite summer teammate Austin Etherington in Indiana's early recruiting class. The commitment also gives the Hoosiers five commitments from Indiana Elite in the classes of 2011 and 2012.
