A product of Southern H.S. in Baltimore, Md., Johnson had been linked with several colleges after leaving New Mexico last spring. Some of the schools mentioned with him were LaSalle and Kent State.
Palm Beach Head Coach Steve Bernath said that not too many people have inquired yet about Johnson. Bernath feels that of all the sophomores on this year's veteran Panther squad that Johnson might have the most potential and ability.
Johnson, who may need the summer to graduate, plans to sign in the spring, and JUCO Junction will keep you posted on his recruitment in the coming months.
