Youngsters shine Sunday at The Workout

Nobody in the gym showed off a better shooting stroke. Though he isn't overly athletic, he has great shot preparation and quick release that make him very dangerous when he decides to let it fly from deep.Here to view this Link. has plenty of time to hone his craft. He has a good frame, can slash along the baseline, is a good driver and transition finisher. His jumper isn't broken by any means, but his shot selection was a bit questionable at times. He is one of those kids who looks like he has the tools to be a player, he just has to learn about effort level and that should come with maturity.Here to view this Link.. The sophomore from Oakleaf was an energy giver all day. He attacked the rim relentlessly off the dribble and played above it when possible. Bryant defended and he rebounded and was one of the most fun players to watch because of his effort level.Here to view this Link. entered Sunday at The Workout with the biggest reputation. Largely in part to him already being a favorite of the mixtape/highlight reel community. Overall, it was a pretty good first look at the highly touted prospect.
He is clearly a very clever ball handler, passes well and has a good feel for the game. It also looks like he can score to go along with his playmaking. At times there was some shake and bake where he didn't really go anywhere so like any young point guard he needs to focus on making sure the dribble gets him somewhere and doesn't just look fancy. He has very good tools but how much he grows and how much quickness he adds will certainly play a large role in his recruitment.
