York to Pac-12

Four-star prospect Gabe York quickly whittled down his lengthy school list and has settled on a resurgent Pac-12 power.
York, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard from Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High School, is headed to Arizona.

"I feel Gabe has one of the best offensive skill packages in the country," said York's travel team coach Etop Udo Ema of the Compton Magic. "He liked Arizona because he felt an instant connection with the players, coaches and the campus."
The top 50 prospect had offers from schools across the country but had recently narrowed his list to Arizona, Marquette, Notre Dame and Washington.
A high level scorer with athleticism, York compares with incoming Arizona shooting guard Nick Johnson. York isn't as physical or as defensively minded as Johnson, but he is a slightly more diversified and prolific scorer than Johnson.
York joins another highly ranked four-star prospect Grant Jerrett.
