Loaded with five-star prospects such as Wendell Carter, USA Basketball is looking to win another gold medal at the FIBA U17 World Championship. Play kicks off Thursday in Utebo, Spain where the U.S. will face Taiwan in its first game. The U17 team is a heavy favorite to win the FIBA U17 World Championship.

Here's a look at where each member of the loaded squad stands in the recruiting process complete with highlights from their recent training camp in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Carter holds offers from many of the country's top programs including powers like Duke, Kentucky and North Carolina. Carter is also a straight-A student who plans on visiting Harvard and has said that he'll take his time with the recruiting process.

Knox plans to cut his list down after Nike's Peach Jam in July. Knox has visited Duke, North Carolina, Florida State and Miami and is in the process of building relationships with the staffs of programs recruiting him.

Brown holds offers from almost every Pac-12 school as well as many others from around the country. Arizona, UCLA, Oregon, Stanford, Kansas, UNLV and Cal have been stepping things up with him recently. Some of the campuses that he's seen include Arizona, Kansas and Cal.

Trent Jr. took an unofficial visit to UCLA when he was in Southern California for the Pangos All-American camp in early June and the Bruins have stepped up their pursuit. Duke Kentucky, Ohio State, Michigan State, Arizona and Alabama are among the others in the pursuit of the five-star prospect who plans to cut his list by the end of July.

If basketball doesn't work out for him, he plans on pursuing a music career.

Wiley is verbally committed to play at Auburn after his high school career. Wiley joins four-star point guard Davion Mitchell as an early commitment to Auburn.

A breakout player in the spring, Sexton's play has assured that he will make the move to five-star territory during next week's updated to the 2017 Rivals150. He currently holds offers from Arizona, Kansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Texas, Texas A&M and many more.

Jackson's stock has been rising since the first session of Nike's EYBL and he is another who is poised to make the leap to five-star status. Jackson's father starred at Georgetown before playing in the NBA and Jackson spent most of his childhood in Maryland. Maryland, Indiana, Michigan State, Purdue, Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, and Texas are some of the schools after him the hardest.

Smart doesn't talk about schools that much and for now he's just focusing on developing his game. Baylor, Oklahoma, Arizona and LSU have all offered and UCLA is showing interest.

Brown is taking his time with the recruiting process and lists UCLA, Stanford and Cal as a few schools he has good relationships with. His most recent offer came from St. John’s.

Gordon holds about 15 offers with St. John's, USC, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State offering recently. Missouri, Illinois, Purdue, Kansas, Kansas State have been staying in consistent contact.

"I'll be cutting my list my junior year and I'm going to commit before my senior year," he said. "That's my plan."

Quickley's recruitment has picked up quite a bit since the USA Basketball training camp. John Calipari from Kentucky told Quickley he would come to Spain to watch him play and Maryland offered the day he made the team. He also holds recent offers from Villanova, Arizona, Texas A&M and UCLA.

Because he reclassified during the spring, Howard is the only graduated senior playing for the team. He's headed to Marquette for college.
