Xavier lands tough wing

Chris Mack and his staff at Xavier wanted to be sure they found a tough wing in the class of 2013.
Tuesday afternoon, they locked one up when Kamall Richards pulled the trigger.

A native of Pennsylvania who played his senior season at St. Benedict in New Jersey before moving to South Kent (Conn.) Prep for his prep school year, Richards is definitely a tough kid.
Checking in at around 6-foot-5 with a solid build, the three-star prospect is an athletic slasher who loves to attack the rim. He gets out and finishes in transition, gets on the glass and limits his own mistakes because he doesn't go out of his comfort zone very often.
Because of his physicality, Richards also has the tools to be an outstanding defender at the A-10 level.
A member of the We-R-1 summer program, Richards is Xavier's first recruit in 2013. Next, they would like to pair Richards with a combo guard and three-stars such as Jerron Wilbut and Brandon Randolph are among those in the mix.
