Wright Talks About Arizona; Other Visits

Julian Wright, the No. 10 ranked player in the class of 2005, recently returned from his second official visit of the fall. The 6-foot-8, 214-pound small forward from Homewood High School in Flossmoor, Ill., spent the weekend with Lute Olson and members of the Arizona Wildcat basketball program. Wright indicated that he plans to take at least one more visit before making a decision about his future.
“My visit to Arizona was good. I talked to all the players, coaches and looked around at the campus,” Wright said. “I will say that my visit went by too fast, but I feel that I got a great look at the school and what campus life is all about. I felt extremely comfortable with the players and coaches.

”I also played in a couple of pick-up games with the other players,” he added. “That was a good experience and all the guys were great to me. It was nice spending time with everybody and getting a feel for the campus life.”
The No. 2 ranked small forward in the class made it perfectly clear that he still plans to take an official visit to DePaul during the weekend of September 17. While nothing has been scheduled as of yet, Wright said that the possibility of taking an additional visit still exists.
“I am going to take my official visit to DePaul later in September,” Wright said. “I want to get a look at all of the schools on my list before I make a decision. I feel that taking all of the visits that I have scheduled will allow me to make the best decision.
”There is a chance that I might take a visit to Kansas, but I have not made a decision about that yet,” he added. “Coach (Bill) Self is coming to my house on September 9, so I will make a decision about visiting Kansas after I speak to Coach Self.”
