Wright Enjoyed In-Home Visit With KU

Julian Wright, the No. 10 ranked player in the class of 2005, conducted an in-home visit with Kansas coach Bill Self on Thursday evening. The 6-foot-8, 214-pound small forward from Homewood High School in Flossmoor, Ill., indicted that he would likely take an official visit to Kansas if the visit with Coach Self went as expected.
Rivals.com caught up with Homewood High School head coach Roy Condotti and got the latest update on Wright’s recruitment.

“I have not talked to Julian yet, but I know that the visit with Coach (Bill) Self was awesome,” Coach Condotti said. “It was real good. “I would imagine news about an official visit to Kansas will come out within the next 24-hours.
“The whole purpose of the in-home visit was to determine if an official visit to Kansas was necessary, so we will see if the visit takes place,” he added. “I do know that the in-home visit with Coach Self went great.”
Wright, the No. 2 ranked small forward in the class of 2005, has already taken official visits to Illinois and Arizona. The Illinois native is scheduled to visit DePaul during the weekend of September 17.
It was believed that Wright would decided between Arizona, DePaul and Illinois, but Kansas made a late run and, at the time, appear to be a serious option the the elite small forward.
