Works a Big Time Athlete

There are two things about Joseph Works' game that you can never question -- his athleticism and intensity.
Works, a 6-6 power forward from Garden City C.C. in Garden City, Kan., is an above the rim athlete who makes some scintillating plays. However, he is trying to hone his game this year at Garden City, working on his skills facing the basket.

His play at the Jayhawk Shootout was mixed. In two games for the Broncbusters, Works scored most of his points around the basket. He tallied 13 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Labette, but managed just four points and three rebounds before fouling out in a loss to Cowley County.
Garden City Asst. Coach Ryan Hellenthal told Rivalshoops.com that Works is being looked at by New Mexico State, Louisiana-Monroe and Alabama A&M.
His recruitment is likely to evolve in the weeks and months to come, and Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on Works' situation as the spring signing period approaches.
