Keith Wooden, a 6-8, 220-pound inside forward, committed to Arizona State this past weekend. He previously had an excellent trip to Arizona State.
Wooden previously told Rivalshoops.com that he spoke with the Indiana staff, and discussed visiting the Big 10 program possibly during the weekend of Oct. 11 for the Hoosiers' Midnight Madness festivities. But this trip will not take place. Wooden confirmed his commitment to RivalsHoops.com.
DePaul, Xavier and UConn also showed some interest. Wooden is hoping to sculpt his 6-8, 220 body at the college level, since he has the size and frame to accommodate more weight.
Wooden missed a qualifying score on his first crack at the ACT exam last year, and will take the test again this fall. While there are question marks by some college coaches as to whether he will qualify or not, Wooden is tackling the recruiting process as if he will make a fall decision.
