Behind the commitment of elite scoring guard Rodney Purvis, North Carolina State debuts at No. 6 in the updated 2012 national team recruiting rankings.

Rival North Carolina joins them in the top 10 at No. 8 after securing a commitment from four-star big man Joel James.

Mississippi State fell out of the top 25 with the addition of North Carolina State, and Colorado just missed entering the rankings after adding a second four-star recruit this week with the commitment of Xavier Johnson.
