Wisconsin-Green Bay lands in-state product
The Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix are off in running in the class of 2012. Tuesday Brian Wardle and his staff received word that Nick Arenz will play his college basketball for them.
A 6-foot-8 power forward at Onalaska (Wisc.) High, Arenz' commitment was confirmed by his summer coach, Ritchie Davis of the Wisconsin Playground Basketball Club.

Thin but skilled, Arenz has some perimeter ability in his game. He's clever around the basket and can stretch a defense.
"He's become much stronger in the past six to seven months and added quality weight to his frame," Davis told Rivals.com. "He can score in the paint and stretch the defense out to the arc. Great pickup for Green Bay in the Horizon."
Only a junior, Arenz had also received scholarship offers from Wisconsin Milwaukee, Lafayette, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
