Winton Woods Balance Too Much for Bullis

LEWES, Del. -- After blowing a significant first half lead in a loss to Oxon Hill just two days earlier, Winton Woods did not allow history to repeat itself on Sunday afternoon at the Slam Dunk to the Beach Tournament.
The Warriors of Cincinnati, Ohio, built a 14 point halftime lead, and did not let up in the second half in cruising to a 72-53 victory over Bullis H.S. of Maryland in a Tommy Jacobs Memorial tilt.

Junior small forward C.J. Anderson propelled the Warriors with a 21 point, nine rebound performance. He also added three assists and shot a crisp nine of 15 from the floor.
Miami signee Robert Hite also chipped in 15 points and six assists for Winton Woods, while Penn State bound DeForrest Riley added 12 in the victory.
Swingman Wade Dunston, one of the better unsigned seniors in the Class of 2002, pumped in 20 points for Bullis, connecting on four of six three pointers for the Bulldogs.
