Winthrop adds another one

Winthrop is putting together quite the recruiting haul for the class of 2008. The mid-major powerhouse added a fourth player to the fold over the weekend.
According to his AAU coach Curtis Wheeler, Case Stiglbauer is headed to the Rock Hill, S.C. school. Stiglbauer, a 6-foot-9, 210-pound power forward from Dreher High School in Columbia, S.C. made the decision while on an unofficial visit to the Big South school.

"Case is a hard working, hard-nosed back to the basket post player. He is a great student and comes from a basketball family (parents played at College of Charleston and brother played at Charleston Southern)," Wheeler said.
Stiglbauer, a two-star prospect, joins his Team Georgia Elite AAU teammate Reggie Middleton, Georgia wing Gideon Gamble and Virginia guard Andre Jones in the 2008 recruiting class. Middleton, Gamble and Jones are all three-star prospects.
Winthrop has the top recruiting class so far in the Big South conference.
