Williams: Visit To AZ Might Not Happen

Terrance Williams, the 6-foot-7, 207-pound point guard from Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, WA., was scheduled to take an unofficial visit to Arizona this weekend, but it looks like that visit will no longer take place. Williams has a number of high major programs interested in his services, but Arizona is one of five schools that Williams really likes.
“I was supposed to unofficially visit Arizona this weekend, but as we approach the end of the week, it’s really up in the air right now,” Williams said. “I would say that I am 75 percent certain that the visit won’t happen this weekend. If I don’t make it this weekend for my visit, I plan to officially visit Arizona in the future.”

While Williams is still in the early stages of his recruitment, the No. 69 player on the Rivals100 list has an idea of what schools he would like to visit when that time comes. Aside from Arizona, schools like Duke, Kansas, North Carolina, Southern Cal, Stanford, Washington, UCLA and Gonzaga are showing the most interest at this stage in his recruitment.
“I really like all the schools on my list,” Williams said. “A lot of the teams recruiting me are playing great basketball right now. A school like Wake Forest comes to mind. I really like how they let freshman Chris Paul run the point guard. They are the newest school to get involved in my recruitment, but I really like them.
“I really wish I could take more than five official visits,” he added. “There are so many great schools involved in my recruitment, but I also realize that five visits is the limit. The schools I plan to officially visit include Arizona, North Carolina, Kansas and Miami-FL. The fifth and final visit is still up in the air, but those are the four schools I definitely plan to visit.”
