Williams twins looking at all options

Twins Jerrell Williams and Terrell Williams have played on one team away from each other in their long basketball career. That was in the fifth grade.
Now in a prep year at Northfield (Mass.) Mount Hermon, the 6-foot-7 forwards know that they may have to split away from each other in college. But the New Jersey natives are hoping that doesn't happen.

After transferring to prep school from Paterson (N.J.) Catholic, the two are contemplating their future in college.
"We haven't decided yet," Terrell said. "I think we will decide on that once the summer is over, right before the high school season starts. There was a story that went out on us that said we wanted to play at different schools and after that came out, we got higher offers. I think we'll just have to look at where we can play at the highest level."
Terrell said he is holding offers from George Washington, Providence, LaSalle and Toledo. Jerrell said Boston College, Virginia, Seton Hall, UMass, George Washington (offer) and LaSalle (offer) top his list.
Transferring away from their Jersey home is one of the helpmates in their quest of both making it to a high-major school.
"After the season we focused on getting a new start and clear the sheet blank. I think we came out this spring with something to prove," Terrell said. "Looking back, I think we both got better at certain parts of our games. I know we aren't the same players that we were during the high school season."
"We just played without thinking too much and think that made us better players," Jerrell said.
Playing with New Heights AAU in the spring, the Williamses said they like the response they have received from the college coaches that are recruiting them.
"The coaches gave a lot of feedback. They all said we play hard and play aggressive and that we are long athletic guys that step up on defense, especially on the help side," Jerrell said. "I try to show my passion for the game, diving on the floor for loose balls and giving it my all."
"I think my advantage is my ability to slash, rebound and finish around the basket is my best attributes," Jerrell said.
"I love to play defense," Terrell said. "I try to defend with intensity. I know certain players don't like to do that. I'm still working on my jumper and my shot is getting better."
With an ever improving game, the duo said they would like to find a place that both would feel comfortable at. A top five list will emerge at the end of the summer, they said.
"If we can both go to the same place that would be great but we know we have to look at everything," Terrell said.
