Williams Starting To Schedule Visits

Danny Williams, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound combo guard from Freemont High School in Los Angeles, Calif., has scheduled an official visit to a Big 12 school, and is in the process of finalizing two other visits. The No. 127 ranked player in the class of 2005 indicated that two teams have emerged as the teams to beat in his recruitment.
“Oklahoma State, Washington and USC are the schools I plan to officially visit,” Williams said. “I have set a visit to Oklahoma State for the weekend of September 17. “I don’t remember the dates for my visits to Washington and USC, but I do know that those are the three schools I plan to officially visit.

“I have thought about visiting Oregon, Kansas and North Carolina, but I don’t know if those visits will happen,” he added. “It would be great to hear more from Kansas and North Carolina, but I don’t know how interested they are right now.”
Williams, the No. 36 ranked shooting guard in the class, stated that two teams from his list of schools have emerged as the teams to beat in his recruitment. While he would like to take all five visits in the fall, USC and Washington will be tough to beat.
“USC and Washington are the teams to beat,” Williams said. “Those two schools are at the top of my list. I have already been to USC for an unofficial visit, but I plan to officially visit both schools in the fall. You could probably put Oklahoma State right under USC and Washington, but I will know a lot more about Oklahoma State after I return home from my visit.”
