Williams Planning To Visit UW, OSU

After taking a serious look at his recruitment throughout the past few months, Danny Williams is ready to take a step forward in the process. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound shooting guard from Freemont High School in Los Angeles, Calif., has plans to take two official visits during the month of October. The No. 127 ranked player intends to make trips to Oklahoma State and Washington.
“I have not been on any official visits just yet,” Williams said. “I do plan to take official visits to Oklahoma State and Washington in October, but I don’t remember when those visits are going to take place. I also know that coaches’ from Oklahoma State, Washington, Wyoming, San Diego State and USC are planning to come to California for in-home visits.

“Wyoming, San Diego State and USC are the final three schools that I plan to visit,” he added. “I should have all of my visits scheduled pretty soon, but Oklahoma State and Washington are the only visits that I am set to take right now.”
Despite the fact that Williams is receiving interest from a number of high major programs, the No. 36 ranked shooting guard has decided to sign during the late signing period. Williams believes that signing late will provide him with the opportunity to make the best decision about his future.
“Yes, I have already decided to sign late,” Williams said. “I realize that there is a chance that other schools might become interested in me late in the process, so I want to be sure that I seriously consider all of my options. By the time the late signing period arrives, I will have a good feeling for where I stand in my recruitment.”
