Williams Names Top Five

2005 prospect Danny Williams out of Freemont High School in Las Angeles, Calif., has caught the attention of the recruiting world with his solid play this spring and summer. This past weekend the 6-foot-3, 185-pound combo guard gave Rivals.com his top five schools.
"My favorites are Oregon, UCLA, Washington, USC, and Kansas,” said Williams. “I don't have a favorite out of those five right now, and I’m still wide open"

Williams will eventually narrow down one school based on two criteria.
"I want to go to a place that Ill fit in and win a national championship,” he said.
Extremely athletic, Williams loves to attack the basket and is effective from behind the arc on the wing. He played well at the Pangos Camp, and at the TOC, he averaged 17 points per game and shot 88 percent from the free throw line for the H-Squad.
"I need to work on my body,” he said about improving his game. “I need to get bigger and stronger. I also need to continue to work on my shooting."
Williams has not scheduled any visits or a date to take a college prep test, but he is scheduled to attend the Reebok ABCD Camp in July.
