Wilkes Names Five
The No. 34 ranked player in the class of 2005 Jordan Wilkes gave Rivals.com a top five school list at the Kingwood Classic. The 6-foot-10, 205-pound power forward from Loyola High School in Las Angeles is still growing and getting better.
“Primarily hearing from the Pac-10, but specifically Arizona, UCLA, Stanford, and Washington are recruiting me,” said Wilkes. “Gonzaga is also involved.”

Wilkes also spoke about the busy week he will have during the last days of the open period.
“Arizona, UCLA, and Washington are coming to school next week,” said Jordan Friday night of the Classic. “I am also setting up visits. I plan on going to Stanford the first week of June.”
Wilkes, who averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks during the high school season, is focusing on improving his strength and low post game.
“I need to improve my strength a little, but I know that will come,” he said. “I am also working hard on my low post game.”
