Wilkerson Chooses A School
David Wilkerson, a 6-6, 235 pound power forward from Arkansas-Fort Smith in Fort Smith, Ark., has signed a national letter of intent with Tennessee-Martin.

A native of Washington, D.C., Wilkerson averaged 3.9 points and four rebounds per game, shooting 46 percent from the field and 58 percent from the free throw line.
Wilkerson spent two years at Tyler J.C. in Texas, transferring into Fort Smith in the fall of 2001. He sat out one of his two years at Tyler.
Last spring, Wilkerson gave an oral commitment to George Washington University. But a coaching change at the Atlantic 10 school scuttled those plans and he spent one more year in junior college.
