Sasa Mijajlovic, an offensively skilled 6-10, 250 pound center from Hutchinson C.C. in Hutchinson, Kan., has given a verbal commitment to Wichita State.

JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com confirmed Mijajlovic's commitment with Hutch Asst. Coach Eric Duft.
Duft said that Mijajlovic plans to ink with the Shocker program during the NCAA's early signing period in November.
Mijajlovic (pronounced ME-EYE-LOW-VITCH) averaged 13.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game as a freshman last year for the Blue Dragons.
Blessed with a sturdy frame, Mijajlovic is not particularly fast or athletic, and his conditioning was not where it always needed to be as a freshman last season.
However, he has excellent mitts, decent footwork and feathery soft touch around the basket which explains why he was able to shoot a robust 65 percent from the floor last season.
So while he may not be much of a factor on the defensive side of the ball, Mijajlovic is an extremely productive offensive player who can score in bunches if he gets fed the ball in the low post.
For that reason, he very well could pay instant dividends for the Shockers in 2002-2003.
Out of high school in Massilon, Ohio, Mijajlovic signed with Fordham University but failed to qualify academically.
The Yugoslavian native then propped a semester at Robert Morris College before leaving that school to attend Gulf Coast C.C. in Florida in the spring of 2000.
He sat out at Gulf Coast while his fellow countryman, Zelimir Stevanovic, led the nation in scoring as a 1999-2000.
Sasa resurfaced at Hutch last fall and is now a sophomore at the Kansas junior college.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com will catch him in action during the basketball season and provide a report at that time.
