White Finishing Up Trip

Marcus White, a 6-8, 210 pound power forward from Whitney Young H.S. in Chicago, Illinois, is finishing up his campus trip to Connecticut this weekend. While some schools are receiving verbal commitments from the 2004 class, the Connecticut staff has the hard job of trying to replace their key player in Caron Butler.
Connecticut has done a nice job so far in the 2002 recruiting campaign. And they are still working hard. Not only was White in this week, but Israeli forward Yaniv Green was in three weeks ago. And Larry Turner is considering taking a visit too.

Sources tell us that White's mother did take the trip with Marcus for the Connecticut visit. Once we reach White and get his thoughts on his visit, we will post them here on this site.
Remember, White recently had a good visit to Seton Hall. He has also expressed positive thoughts on his Miami and Texas A&M trips. He is expected to visit Oklahoma too and then make a decision.
Virginia, Florida State, Indiana, and Wisconsin had inquired about White's availability but it appears that Marcus will choose from his five official visits.
