Wheres Keith Wilright

Keith Wilright, a 6-9 power forward/center from Oakland, Calif., has left the San Jose City College basketball program.
While at the recent 22nd Annual San Jose City College Basketball Classic, JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com noticed that Wilright was not on the Jags' roster.

Just a little over two months earlier, Wilright had played with SJCC at the California Fall JUCO Showcase at Fullerton J.C.
Wilright has bounced around quite a bit the past few years. Last year, the Bay Area product was at National Christian Academy in Maryland. Many thought he would return to the East Coast to prep this year, but he enrolled at San Jose in the fall.
San Jose Head Coach Percy Carr confirmed that Wilright had left school earlier this fall. He said he did not know if Wilright had planned to transfer elsewhere.
Wilright, who had attended Oakland Tech H.S. prior to the 2000-2001 school year, spent the better part of last year at a prep school on the East Coast. He played at several tournaments this past spring and summer with Potomac Valley Blue Devils squad.
An impressive physical specimen, Wilright has been a bit of an enigma because he does not always put forth a consistent effort on the basketball court. This would have likely changed this year if he had stayed and played for one of the better and more disciplined oriented junior college head coaches in the country in San Jose's Percy Carr.
Wilright played for San Jose C.C. at the 2001 California Fall JUCO Showcase, which was held at Fullerton J.C. He appeared to be in better shape than when we saw him last fall.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted.
