Where they stand: Class of 2013 Rivals150

MORE: Class of 2013 Rivals150
The class of 2013 early signing period for college basketball begins Wednesday, and as of Monday morning there were 24 members of the Rivals150 who had yet to make a decision. In that group there are eight five-star prospects -- including the top three players in the country (Andrew Wiggins, Julius Randle and Jabari Parker) -- 13 four-stars and a trio of three-stars. Things can change quickly, but as of now we're expecting that at least seven of the 24 undecided ranked players to sign early, and it's quite possible that none of the available five-stars make early decisions. With that in mind, we take a look at who is left and where they stand.

Andrew Wiggins (No. 1): The nation's top player put it out earlier this fall that he was totally open in his recruitment and wanted more schools involved. Florida State and Kentucky did heavy lifting early and have distanced themselves, but Kansas and North Carolina have been kicking the tires to see if they can make up ground before his spring decision.
Julius Randle (No. 2): The 6-foot-9 Texan took official visits to Florida and Kentucky and still has Kansas, Oklahoma, N.C. State and Texas on his list. He's played things extremely tight and not given any hints of a leader. However, most recent behind-the-scenes talk has the Longhorns and Gators taking the lead while the Wolfpack have established themselves as a darkhorse candidate. Barring a major surprise, his decision is still a ways off.
Jabari Parker (No. 3): Official visits to Duke, Florida and Michigan State are in the books, and he's seen his other two finalists (BYU and Stanford) unofficially. The thought in this one is that it's tight between the Blue Devils, Spartans and Gators with the Blue Devils perhaps holding the lead.
Aaron Gordon (No. 6): Of the five-stars who are still on the board, the 6-foot-8 skywalker from California is one who could deviate from his plan to sign in the spring because his trips have been completed. He's made official visits to Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky, Oregon. Washington and has also checked out California. The Huskies have been the team to beat for a while, though both Wildcats are making it interesting.
Dakari Johnson (No. 13): The 6-foot-10 center from Florida just recently made a switch to the class of 2013 from 2014. His recruitment is still pretty wide open and will play out into the spring, but Syracuse and Florida have received a lot of early mention with him.
Isaac Hamilton (No. 16): The 6-foot-5 shooting guard hit both UNLV and UCLA over the weekend and is also strongly considering Washington, UTEP, Baylor and San Diego State. He's still planning to sign in the spring, but if he signs early the Rebels, Bruins, Bears and Miners have the most traction of late.
Jermaine Lawrence (No. 21): The athletic combo forward recently cut his list down to Cincinnati, St. John's, Syracuse and UNLV and will look to set up visits this winter before signing in the spring. For now, everybody looks to be about even.
Keith Frazier (No. 22): One of the best jump shooters remaining on the board, he's going to be a hot item this spring. SMU has quietly been generating steam with him while others such as Texas A&M, LSU, Memphis, Texas and many more are involved. Distance could end up being a big factor for the Dallas product.
Rysheed Jordan (No. 29): The top remaining point guard on the board, Jordan isn't likely to decide in time for the early signing period. Syracuse, Temple, St. John's, UCLA, Xavier and Rutgers. The 6-foot-4 floor general isn't claiming any leaders but Temple and St. John's appear to have the inside track.
Tyler Roberson (No. 32): The 6-foot-8 combo forward is down to just Kansas, Syracuse and Villanova. He'll have a decision within the next few days and the race is tight as it comes down the wire. Recent speculation has been Villanova leads but he's refused to confirm any leader.
BeeJay Anya (No. 49): The four-star center hasn't committed yet, but his decision is most likely to be N.C. State. Look for him to confirm that during a Friday event at Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha.
Kennedy Meeks (No. 54): Look for the center's recruitment to be over by the end of the week. He's down to North Carolina and Georgetown and the race is too close to call as they come down the home stretch.
Detrick Mostella (No. 68): An Alabama native spending his final year of high school in Indiana, Mostella is wide open. SMU, Georgetown, Texas A&M have been associated with him but nobody has gone full speed ahead on him. As the athletic scorer's academic situation clears up, he'll become a major spring target.
Jordan Bell (No. 70): The 6-foot-8 shot blocker visited Auburn over the weekend and saw his other finalist, Oregon, a few weeks ago. He'll make his decision official during a Tuesday assembly at Long Beach (Calif.) Poly, and the Ducks held an edge before his Auburn visit. Update: committed to Oregon.
Brandon Austin (No. 74): A 6-foot-6 guard who is likely to shoot up the rankings this winter, Austin is good with Texas, Connecticut and Providence. The three programs are all pretty even for now and he should have a decision by the end of the week. Proximity could play a big part for the Philly native, and that would bode well for the Huskies and Friars.
Mamadou Ndiaye (No. 84): The nation's biggest target (he's 7-foot-5) has had a very quiet recruitment. Georgetown has been associated with him some but word is that those close to the Senegal native would like to see him end up close to home. Pepperdine and UC Irvine have been mentioned prominently. Update: Committed to UC Irvine.
Austin Colbert (No. 92): It's actually a bit of a surprise that the New Jersey shot blocker hasn't made his choice yet but that could change by the end of the day on Monday. Villanova, Seton Hall, Illinois and Miami are the finalists. Update: Committed to Illinois.
Stevie Clark (No. 96): The 5-foot-10 scoring machine has made official visits to Baylor, Oklahoma State, Florida State and UCLA while several others have tried to get involved. He's toyed with the idea of waiting until the spring but should make a pick this week. Travis Ford and the Cowboys have been the clubhouse favorite for a while now, but Scott Drew and the Bears are pushing.
Vince Hunter (No. 98): Many programs such as Memphis, Xavier, Dayton, San Diego State and more have been in the mix for the 6-foot-7 combo forward but most are waiting to see how his grades check out this winter. When February and March roll around, his commitment will pick up steam but for now things are quiet.
Demarcus Croaker (No. 102): Murray State, Texas and Florida State have all been involved with the super athletic shooting guard. Like a few others on this list, Croaker has some academic concerns to clear up before things get too serious, and for now he's likely to wait until the spring to make a decision.
Demetrius Henry (No. 113): So far, the 6-foot-9 big man has taken official visits to Clemson and Rutgers. Unless there is a major change in plans, he'll be a spring signee. South Carolina, USF, Miami and Cincinnati are among those who are also in the mix.
Deshaun Morman (No. 125): An athletic wing scorer and high school teammate of Henry's, Morman has yet to decide if he'll sign early or late. If he does end up signing early, the choice will likely be made from between Rutgers and Cincinnati and Mick Cronin's bunch could hold the slight edge. Update: Committed to Cincinnati.
Travis Jorgenson (No. 138): A native of Columbia, Mo., who is prepping on the East Coast, the point guard broke off his commitment to Missouri a few weeks ago. He'll be a spring signee and is wide open at this point. He took an unofficial visit to Boston College and others such as Alabama, Creighton, Oklahoma State, Illinois and many others have reached out.
Junior Etou (No. 142): A physical 6-foot-8 rebounder, Etou will hold off until the spring to make a decision. DePaul, Xavier, Cincinnati, Temple and Rutgers are among those who are chasing the power forward.
