Whats Next For James Lang

It's going to be a big moment tonight for the Louisville basketball program. According to a source, James Lang, the 6-10 center from Central Park Christian in Birmingham, Ala., will give a verbal commitment to head coach Rick Pitino. It's already been widely reported this was taking place or had taken place. The reports are all true -- Lang is going to sign with Louisville this November.
RivalsHoops.com spoke to Lang tonight about his future. "I really liked the school on my visit," Lang said. "My mom liked it too. I had a good talk with coach (Rick) Pitino. And Louisville has shown me a lot of interest over the past month."

Lang is likely to be elevated in the top five of the RivalsHoops.com ratings this week. He was perhaps the best inside big man RivalsHoops.com saw this summer.
Lang visited Louisville last month when he attended a basketball camp at the Conference USA school, and he immediately took a liking to his surroundings there. "It was a great trip," Lang said. "I feel I will fit in there and will improve my game."
Alabama Birmingham, Memphis and Alabama were also considered. Lang addressed the NBA rumors too. "If I am told I will be in the top ten then I will think about it (NBA draft)," Lang said. "But I don't see that happening. I am just focusing on college and how I can be a better player this season."
