WG Names Leader

BRONX, NEW YORK -- Dwon Youmans, a 6-4, 180-pound wing guard from Arlington Country Day School in Jacksonville, Florida, has fielded some overtures from some of the top programs on the East coast.
Youmans, who competed with Team Breakdown at this weekend's Rumble in the Bronx, is an athletic wing who can drill the deep ball. Dwon has offers from Florida and Miami. Other schools who have expressed interest include Maryland, UConn, Auburn, and Syracuse.

"Florida and Miami are my two top schools right now," said Youmans.
Youmans stressed that a school's academic offerings will figure prominently into his decision, which is one of the reasons Florida is high on his list. "Florida is my main school right now," said Youmans.
Youmans averaged 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals for Arlington Country day this past season. Dwon carries a 2.7 GPA, and will take the SAT for the first time in the fall.
