West Virginia picks up little known point guard
It's getting harder and harder to find guys who are almost completely off the radar. However, Bob Huggins and his staff look like they've come awfully close with the commitment of
Gary Browne.
A native of Puerto Rico who played for his country's national team, Browne is a six-foot point guard who has been playing for Rex Morgan at Jacksonville (Fla.) Arlington Country Day.
Described by those close to his recruitment as an athletic driver of the basketball, Browne is also considered a sturdy athlete and streak shooter who gets others involved.
Browne joins a sizable recruiting class that already includes high schoolers
Keaton Miles,
Aaron Brown,
Jabarie Hinds,
Tommie McCune and
Pat Forsythe. Junior college forward
Dominique Rutledge rounds out the Mountaineers seven man class.
