West Coast Shooter Has Favorite in Pac-10

Seketoure Henry, one of the best shooters on the west coast, has a leader in the Pac-10 and a visit scheduled for later this month. The 6-foot-2, 165-pound shooting guard from Lynwood (Calif.) High School has a list of four total schools.
"My top four are Arizona State, San Diego State, Fresno State, and UNLV,” said Henry. “My leader is Arizona State. They are the only school that has been in to see me so far. I have a visit set up with them on September 24th. I don’t have any other visits set up as of right now."

Coach Rob Evans, along with other factors, is the main attraction for Henry.
"I like their coach,” he said. “I like Rob Evans a lot. He seems like a great guy. They have been recruiting me the hardest and that means a lot to me. I like the school and the fact that they are in the Pac-10. It is a great conference."
Henry has a deadly left handed stroke with NBA range. Not exceptionally quick or strong, he is a good at anticipating steals and getting in the passing lanes on defense. His on-the-ball defense needs work as do his skills with the ball on offense.
"I need to work on my point guard skills before I get to college,” said Henry. “I know that I will be asked to play both guard positions. I also need to get stronger. I’ve been in the weight room but not as much as I should be."
Henry will team up with UNLV commitment Davon Jefferson this year to form one of the best one-two punches on the west coast.
"I’m real excited about our high school team,” he said. “We should be real good this year. My goal is to win state. Anything less, and I'll be disappointed.”
