West Coast final four for Thybulle

RANKINGS: Class of 2014 - 2015 - 2016
It's getting down to crunch time in the recruitment of Rivals150 forward Matisse Thybulle. He's evaluated all the schools recruiting him, narrowed his list to the four schools with which he feels most comfortable and is in the process of giving each school one final look.

"I've been talking to Washington, Oregon, California and Gonzaga. That's basically my final four schools. I visited California and Oregon on official visits already and took an unofficial visit to Washington. I'm going to Gonzaga this upcoming weekend on an official visit. I might take an official visit to Washington if I feel like I need to."
Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar has put in a lot of time building a relationship with the Rivals150 prospect, and that's a big part of the reason the Huskies are in so deep in Thybulle's recruitment.
"I think they are a really good program. I like their coaches. Me and Coach Romar have been talking for a while now. They have a good team. I know a lot of the kids that are committed there in my class. We would have pretty good chemistry coming in."
Thybulle came away very impressed with his official visit to Eugene.
"Oregon has the nicest facilities I've ever seen. I like their team. I really like the playing style they have, which is pushing the ball down the court and playing at a fast pace. "
California's new coaching staff under Cuonzo Martin wasted no time in making Thybulle a priority once they arrived in Berkeley.
"California is great. They have a beautiful campus. They have a great team. Even though they have a new coaching staff, I feel like the players really get along with the coaches. I also like that they push the ball too."
Gonzaga will likely get the last chance to have Thybulle on campus before he moves closer to making a decision. He's already been on their campus earlier this year.
"My high school went to team camp over there. That was really fun. I got to hang out with Coach [Mark} Few and all the coaches there. I really like their gym there and what they are all about. They are all about winning."
Once he's done with official visits, Thybulle wants to have a decision done in time to sign during the early signing period in November.
"I'm definitely going to sign in the early signing period. Beyond that, I don't really know when it will be. All the schools are pretty even for me right now."
