Wesley Green Narrows Field

One of the top remaining uncommitted big men in the nation, Wesley Green from Eustis (FL) High School, has narrowed his list down to four schools all of whom have offered.
"There have been some changes to my list. I am no longer considering Tennessee or Florida State. They wanted me to commit early but I wanted to wait and they signed players at my position," he said. "Right now Marquette, Indiana, South Florida and DePaul are my favorites."

Last month Green, who is rated 4-stars and the 11th best center prospect in the nation by RivalsHoops.com, took an official visit to Indiana and the Hoosier emerged as one of his favorites.
"I had a great trip to Indiana. The people there love basketball and take it very seriously," Green said. "I liked meeting the coaches and players and love how hard they are already working. They will be tough to beat."
Due to the three official visits he has already taken, Indiana, Tennessee, and Florida State, Green, 6-foot-9, 260-pounds, only will be able to visit two of his remaining three favorite teams.
"I have a visit set up with Marquette on October 17th. So I will have to choose whether to visit DePaul or South Florida with my last official visit," he said. "It's going to be a pretty hard decision to make but I have been blessed with this opportunity and I am going to enjoy it and give all of the teams the same chance. I won't make my decision until I have taken my last visit and then I will sit down and really think about it before I announce"
Last season Green averaged 18.8 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest.
