THE RIVALS150: 2016 | 2017

The beginning of the early signing period is less than two weeks away and with only 31 members of the 2016 Rivals150 still available, the slate of weekend visitors is pretty light. However, there are a few big-timers, like the nation's No. 2 player Harry Giles, who will be on the move this weekend.
Giles headlines ACC visits
For the longest time, Duke has been considered the heavy favorite to land 6-foot-10 power forward Harry Giles. This weekend, the North Carolina native who plays at Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill takes his official visit to Durham. The Blue Devils already have five-star prospects Jayson Tatum and Frank Jackson plus high-end four-star Javin DeLaurier committed, and the addition of Giles would give them a true monster class. Earlier this week, Giles set an announcement date for the Nov. 14. He's also taken official visits to Kansas, Kentucky and Wake Forest.
N.C. State is hoping that they can knock it out of the park and lock up the nation's No. 7 player Bam Adebayo this weekend. The 6-foot-9 power forward from High Point (N.C.) Christian has been considered by many to be a lean to State for a while, but he's been quite quiet about his intentions. Auburn and Kentucky are also heavily in the mix and it wouldn't be a surprise if Adebayo decided soon after his visit to Raleigh. Adebayo's good friend and summer teammate Dennis Smith is already committed to NC State and the five-star point guard is expected on campus to help. There's also a good chance that five-star shooting guard Rawle Alkins stops by campus for a bit.
Ranked No. 49 overall, shooting guard Bruce Brown will head to Miami this weekend. One of the best defenders in the country, Brown has already seen Indiana and Xavier and he's been by UMass unofficially. He's scheduled to take in Purdue next weekend and a decision should come shortly after that visit. The Hoosiers have been considered the team to beat for a while, but do not count out UMass in this one as he heads into his final two visits.
SEC schools roll out red carpet
It is looking more and more like shooting guard Malik Monk will wait until the spring to make a decision. The Bentonville (Ark.) High standout who ranks No. 6 overall visits home state Arkansas this weekend. Monk has been on campus countless times over the years and has been the Razorbacks' top target in 2016 since before he played a high school game. Should Monk see enough to make an early decision, it would look good for the Hogs. But, he's also visited Kansas, Kentucky and Oregon and for the moment it's looking as if he will take his time.
Another ranked player making a visit this weekend is No. 73 Abdulhakim Ado. A 6-foot-10 shot blocker, Ado will be on the road to Auburn. Word is that Bruce Pearl and his staff have made a strong move with Ado of late but both LSU and Mississippi State are viable destinations as well. Already committed three-star power forward Anfernee McLemore will also take his visit this weekend.
More visits
Cuonzo Martin and California have who they hope is their point guard of the future on campus this weekend in Charlie Moore. A scorer who can get into the lane thanks to tremendous quickness, Moore is slender but has the type of toughness that Martin covets. He's also seen VCU and Memphis but a strong weekend in Berkeley could be enough for the Bears to lock up the No. 57 player in 2016.
In other visit news, Kansas State hosts a pair of relatively under-the-radar big men in three-star power forward Arnoldo Toro from New Jersey and two-star James Love from Florida. Arizona State plays host to one of the top power forwards in junior college, Darryln Willis.
