LEWES, Del. -- Listed below is a summary of Wednesday's games from the 2001 Slam Dunk to the Beach Tournament at Cape Henlopen H.S.

Hodgson Vo-Tech (DE) 64 Brandywine (DE) 61
Taurian Temple scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds to pace Hodgson to a three point victory. Na'shon Ellerbe led Brandywine in defeat with 21 points and four assists.
Game 2: Mayor's Cup Semifinal
St. Elizabeth (DE) 52 Cape Henlopen (DE) 40
Forward Shane Sowden connected on 10 of 18 field goal attempts on the way to 21 points and also grabbed nine rebounds in leading St. Elizabeth to a comfortable victory over the tournament hosts. Guard Matt Jones topped Cape Henlopen with 16 points (4/8 three pointers).
Game 3: Tommy Jacobs Memorial
Bullis Prep (MD) 56 Archbishop Spalding (MD) 45
In a battle of Maryland parochial schools, swingman Wade Dunston was too much to handle for Spalding, collecting 24 points and nine rebounds in a 56-45 Bullis victory. Forward Jerome Johnson pitched in 11 points and 10 rebounds for the victors, while guard Matt Latonick spearheaded Spalding's effort with 10 points.

Winton Woods (OH) 57 Towson Catholic (MD) 53
Miami (FL) signee Robert Hite flew his way to 16 points and Penn State bound teammate DeForrest Riley pitched in 13 points and five assists in Winton Woods' 57-53 victory on Wednesday afternoon. Darnell Hopkins tallied 20 points and eight rebounds in defeat for Towson.

Oxon Hill (MD) 60 St. Augustine (NJ) 53
Unsigned senior small forward Chris Williams scored 11 points and guard Aaron Parsons added 10 as Oxon Hill H.S. slipped past South Jersey power St. Augustine, 60-53. Anthony Farmer led the Hermits with 18 points in defeat, while Siena bound Michael Haddix put up 13 points.
Game 8: National Power Series:
Amityville (NY) 57 Bishop Loughlin (NY) 53
In a game that pitted Villanova recruits and summer squad teammates Jason Fraser and Curtis Sumpter, it was Fraser's Amityville squad that escaped with a 60-53 victory over Bishop Loughlin. Fraser enjoyed a productive outing, collecting 13 points, 22 rebounds and five blocks in the win. Sophomore A.J. Price led Amityville with 15 points. Sumpter was no slouch in defeat for the Lions, as he netted 18 points and hauled down 10 boards.
Game 9: Tommy Jacobs Memorial
Salem (VA) 49 Christ the King (NY) 48
John Gilchrist scored 17 points to carry Salem H.S. of Virginia to a come from behind 49-48 victory over perennial New York City power Christ the King. Japhet McNeil led the Royals in defeat with 18 points, five assists and five steals.
Game 10: Tommy Jacobs Memorial
Inglewood (CA) 62 Sanford School (DE) 51
In what billed as a battle of top big men, DeAngelo Collins won the battle and the war as Inglewood H.S. of California defeated the Sanford School of Delaware, 62-51. Collins put up 23 points and 10 rebounds against Sanford's junior big man Will Sheridan. Sheridan finished with 19 points and three rebounds on the evening. Collins had a bit more help from his supporting cast, with Ron Ligon (13 points) and Chris Holloway (11 points) also hitting for double figures.
