Webster schedules two visits

Now that the summer AAU circuit is over, Bryce Webster is ready to take another step forward in his recruitment. The 6-foot-9, 245-pound power forward from St. Thomas Academy High School in Mendota Heights, Minn., has scheduled two official visits for the month of September.
"I have scheduled two official visits for the month of September," said Webster. "I will be visiting Minnesota during the weekend of September 9 and Boston College during the weekend of September 16.

"I have not made a decision yet, but I might only need to take two official visits," he added. "I still like Marquette, but I don't know if I will officially visit their campus."
While the idea of playing so close to home is certainly appealing to Webster, he made it perfectly clear that leaving the state to attend college is a serious option. He will have a better idea of where his recruitment stands once he returns home from both visits.
"I have heard a lot of great things about Boston College, but I am looking forward to seeing the place for myself," said Webster. "I also like the coaching staff at Boston College. Minnesota is the hometown school and its only nine minutes away from my home.
"If I decide to attend Minnesota, my family and friends could come watch me play," he added. "I plan to make a decision about a school soon. I know that my visit to Minnesota will take place, and I think my visit to Boston College will happen, too."
Bryce Webster Scouting Report: Webster has the potential to be a very good big man on the high-major level. He has size, desire and decent feet and hands. He does need to tone up his body and improve his foot speed. -Jerry Meyer
