Weber State Fields commitment
The campus of Weber State in Ogden, Utah is just over 1,500 miles away from Houston, Texas. As it turns out, that's not too far for a kid to go in search of an opportunity as evidenced by Shai Fields Sunday decision to commit to Randy Rehe's Wildcats.
An athletic 6-foot-3 shooting guard who ran with Team Texas during the summer, Fields also hails from a powerhouse high school program. After playing at Pearland (Texas) High during the 2009-10 season, Fields will play his senior season for Greg Wise's might Houston (Texas) Yates program.

The commitment to the Big Sky Conference program was confirmed by Fields father Charles sent Rivals.com this message.
