Webb Lists Four Near Top Of List

Marquis Webb, a 6-3 shooting guard/swingman from Paterson Catholic H.S. in Paterson, N.J., told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he has four schools high on his list. "Right now I like Syracuse, Seton Hall, Rutgers and Villanova," Webb said. "I also am interested in Massachusetts, Maryland, UCONN, and St. John's."
Williams also attended Paterson Catholic and will be a senior in the fall at the Big East program.

Webb, who had an up and down spring with the Playaz, appears to be having a solid ABCD camp. He did have a terrific weekend at the Bob Gibbons Memorial Day Tournament of Champions. However, he and his team were inconsistent at the Rumble in the Bronx. Webb's Playaz Gold team did not advance out of pool play and lost two of three games they played.
At the Gibbons tournament, Webb consistently scored in transition and made solid decisions with the basketball as the Playaz Gold squad streaked to the 17 and under National Division title.
"I am trying to make myself a better shooter off the dribble," Webb said. "This is what I will be working hard on this summer."
If Webb is able to master that challenge, then it's likely he will have many more offers on his table come August.
