Watkins Ready To Decide
A source close to talented center Darryl Watkins, 7-0, 220-pounds from Paterson Catholic High School, told us tonight that he is close to making a decision. A source very close to Watkins told us this evening that Darryl was probably going to verbal to Villanova.
Watkins has the potential to be a top 20 player but needs to establish more consistency in his offensive approach. He is a physical talent for sure and if properly motivated, Darryl is one of the best big men in the country.
Watkins told us he was previously interested in Syracuse, Villanova, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, Rutgers, Connecticut, Virginia, and St. John's.
