Waters Makes Decision

Things are going pretty good for Montavious Waters, a 6-foot-3, 195 pound guard of Westover HS in Albany, GA. The senior is in the state Final Four and as of Tuesday night, he’s now committed to a Conference USA school.
Waters is one of the main reasons why his Westover team is still moving forward in the state playoffs. They will play defending state champions East Hall HS on Thursday night.

Waters is no stranger to winning, either. He teamed up with the Atlanta Celtics over the summer. Wallace Prather, the director of the Atlanta Celtics, confirmed Waters’ commitment to RivalsHoops on Wednesday.
“Yes, he has committed to South Florida,” Prather said. “He called them last night and did it.”
Waters told us two weeks ago that the Bulls have been patiently recruiting him through the season. Their persistence boded well in the end.
“They are really growing on me. With them moving to the Big East, it gives players more exposure and that is something I’m thinking about,” Waters told us earlier in the month.
Waters chose South Florida over Florida State and St. Johns. He is averaging 19.5 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists per game.
We will have more from Waters coming soon.
