Warren in holding pattern

Last week was a tumultuous for five-star prospect Willie Warren. He withdrew from Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill High School and visited Oklahoma over the weekend before enrolling at his old high school Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley.
Despite the drama from the week, Warren and his mother Malaika Warren enjoyed their time in Norman, Okla.

"We had a great time," said Mrs. Warren. "The visit went very well."
The bigger news, however, is that Warren has postponed his scheduled visit to Kansas this weekend and will likely wait until after the November signing period to make a decision.
"Willie was supposed to go to Kansas this weekend, but because of everything that has happened, we aren't going to go," said Mrs. Warren. "We are going to let Willie get adjusted and then visit Kansas later. We aren't in a hurry because we are going to let everything settle down and then wait until the spring to sign."
Warren, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound guard, is the No. 12 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
Willie Warren scouting report:
A physically imposing combo guard, Warren excels at delivering the tough pass on the move and knocking down the difficult shot. He also has the tools to be a dominant defender and rebounder if the effort is there. Best in an up and down game, Warren does need to improve his decision making in the half court offense.
